My normal work schedule is Monday thru Friday and although I’ve been working from home now, something that I felt in the very beginning when I started the “home office” is I need to get out more! That change of not driving to work and the freedom of essentially work from anywhere is a different mindset then what we had a couple of years ago.
So, what I like to do from time to time is take advantage of the weekend and experience it! I was in SLC with a friend, and we did all kinds of things! From visiting Dreamscapes to playing volleyball, roller skating, and going on a small hike looking up at a waterfall! It was amazing so thanks friend for reaching out!😊
For me it’s so important to disrupt that “normal” pattern often, otherwise you’ll get stuck in it and wonder. It doesn’t even have cost any money just do something different on your weekend! Get out and just enjoy that time!
When I was younger early to late 20s, (Remember I’m 30 as of writing this) living on my own. I never really did any those things by myself or with someone. I’ve stayed and followed close to my family, there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s a balancing act for me. I know what I want my life, but I also know following my family won’t get me to those goals, and dreams that I have. I’m grateful for my family they are my backbone but it’s not all of me. So focus on those weekends and experience them with friends, dates, or even by yourself just go somewhere…It’s helped me tremendously!
